“My approach is compassionate and empathetic, giving you equal space to feel heard and understood while navigating difficult, repetitive and unhelpful patterns in your relationship”
Focus and passion.
Margie is dedicated to helping couples build stronger, more meaningful connections – with a particular passion for those early in their journey who want to start on the strongest possible footing. With a compassionate, empathetic, and grounded approach, she creates a safe space where real transformation can happen.
Whether you are a new couple learning to navigate life together, working through conflict, healing from infidelity, preparing for marriage, raising a family or rediscovering each other as empty nesters or retirees, Margie has the expertise and warmth to guide you through. She also supports couples through intimacy challenges and the shifting dynamics of adult and blended family relationships.
Highly experienced.
Margie brings a wealth of knowledge to working with couples at every life stage – from newly committed partners building their foundation, to parents navigating family demands, to those reimagining life together in later years. She understands that each stage brings its own pressures, patterns, and possibilities.
Her approach is systemic and evidence-based, drawing on the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, the Gottman Method, Family Systems Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy – tailored to each unique couple, wherever they're starting from.
Empathic and client-centred approach.
Margie is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and trusting environment where clients feel truly heard, seen, and supported. With a deeply empathetic, curious, and insightful style, she helps partners understand themselves and each other – fostering the self-awareness and individual growth that are the real foundations of a thriving relationship.
She works with both individuals and couples, exploring how personal development and a relational mindset go hand in hand. Her goal is to help couples not just navigate life's inevitable challenges, but to build something genuinely connected, resilient and rewarding.
